oldcomputers.dyndns.org

is for old computers with Z80 like processor and CP/M like operating system mostly. This webserver  is installed on an  today unknown operating system called OS/2   running the ECS 2.1 distribution.
As I needed a stable OS years ago in 1992I read about a new Operating System called OS/2. I got the version 2.0 and being satisfied with all I got I  used  OS/2 in mostly any of  its distributions.

Be warned of less speed as this is my test system for backup and personal use. As I began in the 1980'th  with a Z80 powered tandy clone - a EACA Video Genie 1 - I had fun with those magic machines and years later I realized that I'm collecting old computers. Now years changes, I was going to a  new life and I decided to give all of my collected parts away. At the moment I collect only old computers made by EACA / Trommeschlaeger.

Explanation about the navigation in this side:
I used Filepage to make the pages automatically. Filepage makes use of descriptions. Descriptions is an file type with information for the files stored in an directory. If descriptions are exist you see there is some text printing on the right side. At this point I must say thanks to Ian Manners. On the www.os2site.com I found Filepage and got the idea what was able to do with it and some hints from Ian show me the way.

* Info: Sadly during restore of an backup the 'original last modified timestamps' of files are lost. *
